Well it was bound to happen and today it finally did...... I took a major spill on my bike!

I was 34.25 miles into a 34.88 mile ride. I was making the final turn into my neighborhood traveling at a little over 18 mph, when my chain broke sending me to the pavement! Luckily I was close to home, because my bike was pretty F'ed up!

The Damage to Me:

Road Rash on Left lower left leg, Knee, Left Arm and Right Elbow.
Good size cut on Left Knee and Small nicks on hands.
Some bruising on the upper portion of my right leg
Some major soreness of the Left Shoulder, Neck, Lower Back and Butt
And major damage to my pride.... I busted ass right in front of one of my neighbors and his kid!


The Damage to the bike:

Broken chain.
Broken Left shifter/brake lever.
Broken rear derailleur
Lost the right end cap on the handle bar
Scratched the hell out of everything else
and worst of all..... I Lost my bottle of Captain Morgan’s

....... Now that really hurts!
